Entry and stay conditions – from Tahiti Tourisme
From 1st May 2021, The Islands of Tahiti has reopened to visitors! The new protocol takes into account vaccinated travelers and those who are immunized in order to continue managing the health situation in The Islands of Tahiti and to protect its population as well visitors.
Regarding “other travelers”:
Upon arrival, non-vaccinated and non-immunized travelers will have to quarantine for 10 days in Tahiti, whatever the results of their tests may be.
Travelers under 6 years old are not subject to quarantine.
Children aged 6 years old and over, who are not vaccinated and not immune, are subject to quarantine in Tahiti (10 days) with an adult.
Children aged 6 years old and over, who have tested positive to COVID-19, are subject to isolation in Tahiti with an adult.
Tests at traveler’s expense:
Tests upon arrival and duration of your stay will be at your own expense, as soon as the payment plan is implemented by the Government the cost will be communicated.
